Project Information
As part of Ivana Chubbuck Studio’s first online course, a necessity brought on by the realities of a pandemic, students were asked to create. The first assignment was performing a monologue of their own creation that expresses an experience of the shutdown of life - due to the coronavirus.
The primary purpose was to be worked on in class, but master teacher, Ivana Chubbuck, encouraged students to film it - and do something with it.
The monologues created by the students are woven together to create a story that shows a portrait of culture in this moment. Filmed using the various methods of communications that are common during this epidemic; FaceTime, Zoom (Grid View or Solo), Webcams (Vlog) the film fully embraces these mediums in order to get across our message - a message of togetherness.
